For fiction, your submission should be no longer than two (2) pages, single-spaced. For poetry, your submission should be no longer than one (1) page. (Keep in mind, though, we’ll only accept one written piece per theme, so send us your best!) For art submissions, we are seeking works that thrive in a digital format. Beyond that, you can interpret our theme through any medium and style you want. Submissions are open for each theme from the 1^st to the 20^th of the month before that edition runs (so if you’re submitting for, say, March’s theme, make sure you get it in between February 1^st and February 20^th).

All work must be previously unpublished. We accept simultaneous submissions, but let us know as soon as your work has been accepted elsewhere. All rights revert back to the author/artist upon publication, though we do ask that you acknowledge The Chimera Book as the first place your work appeared if it is featured elsewhere in the future. Any work accepted for publication will be archived on our site.
